its been too long

so i've noticed i've been slacking on the blogging, it coincides with various other aspects of my life. i need to get my focus back. i had a great focus for a while, then it stopped. i need that back. i want so badly to get into the school i want to (sauder). i just got deferred yesterday=\. we'll see what happens. what ever happens, happens for the best. i have huge ambition, but i just need the drive and motivation to pull it off.

i've been trying to get a more positive attitude with everything. shaycarl has inspired me <3
you control everything that makes you unhappy. if you don't want to be unhappy, don't put yourself in that mindset. it's hard to comprehend, but it's so true.

hello my minions,

so i haven't done this for a long, long while, and i decided i might as well update you guys on my current sitcherrration. so. olmypic fever has taken vancouver by storm!! i've been downtown numerous times and i LOVE the vibe that has befallen this city. it's going to suck when this is all over. the world has literally come to vancouver. i've gone downtown and met people from all over canada and the world. concerts are great! i've seen daniel wesley and deadmau5 so far (plus other no names).

school! blaaaaahhhhhhhh, so stressfull. i need A's in both my classes if I want to go to university. my english 12 AP mark brought me up a considerable amount, but that math 12 mark is like a stain on my report card. i want to get 86% or higher in my other two classes (Literature and French). i think it's doable if i put my mind to it. i'm kinda scared for the first Lit test, i thikn its gonna be a slap in the face. i hope Boom goes easy on us. i've only applied to UBC, SFU, and a few other Ontario universities... i think i'll get into UBC arts, and if i'm lucky, business. i'm not even sure if i want to do business though, so demanding. and spencer's been trying to convince me to do arts. who knows.

2009 was an interesting year. it was a good year. it was a bad year. i met lots of different people. i made friends. i lost friends. i experienced things this year that i won't forget for my entire life. if i had the chance to go back and change things in 2009, i wouldn't. as cliche as this sounds, everything happens for a reason. the experiences i had this year (both good and bad) will somehow affect my future. so i bid 2009 adieu with no hard feelings.

i've been seriously re-considering my career path the past couple days. i'm not sure the business path would make me as satisfied as i would like. i really see myself enjoying lit, psych, and philosophy classes way more than like.. accounting or statistics. we'll see how this plays out. i hope i make the right decisions.

ive been losing lots of keys lately

hey, so i haven't posted for a while, so i decided to give you guys a little update!
things are okay. school is killing me. i'm stressing the fuck out about grades and i'm confused as fuck about scholarships and university application deadlines. party scene is dece, there are a few coming up that i'm looking forward too. halloween is going to be epic. 3 parties at least. i'm being captain morgan ;). in the girls department, i can legitimately say i don't have feelings like i used to for anyone at the moment. all it's been recently is hook ups, which is nice from time to time, lol. umm, i've been listening to a lot of classical recently, never get sick of it. listen to "Clair De Lune" by Claude Debussy. tears will be shed my friends, tears will be shed. i'm going to U2!!! stoked for that. other than that, everything's the same old.

thing's are pretty good so far. grade 12 is grrreeeat minus the copious amounts of homework i get every single day. i'm loving english minus Lively art of writing (i hate that book with a burning passion which even the waters of Poseidon can not put out ;) ). math is easy now. yay. geography is gay. but easy, i need to try harder in the class. like how i'm using fragmented sentences? get used to it. lol. i. like. turtles.

lots of parties! lots of fun! lots of people! i dont think there has been one weekend yet without a party, and i'm booked for another 2 months. =) love my life. except not really.

i've been driving a lot. i'm getting good at it. road test dec.17th!!!
can't wait. i think i'll pass first try.

ok honestly , it's fucking KANYE. what do you expect? we all knew from day 1 that he had an ego bigger than pamela anderson's tits. the thing that makes me lol is that when his mom died, everyone was sympathizing with him, and when he pulls something like this, everyone hates him. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS. this is the same thing you people did with MJ, you just hate/love him when it's cool to do so.

in my opinion, i think kanye west is a marketing GENIUS. he single-handedly took over the internet in less than an hour, with a 15 second rant. he was all over twitter, facebook, and youtube.

summer 2009 = epic

this summer has been both the best and worst summer of my life :P
i won't go into details about the bad stuff.

what i did enjoy was meeting TONS of new people, having fun, partying and just having an overall CHILL summer. it was GREAT. there are tons of people i need to thank for all the good times, but i'm gonna forget someone so i'm not gonna name names.

i can't wait till next summer!
and spring break too actually :P

this really bugs me

i've driven into vancouver countless times, but to this day, i still feel absolutely sick when we go down east hastings. homelessness and crack isn't a pretty combination. what bugs me is how ignorant other people are towards them. they treat the addicts like dirt, ignore them, and think that they're the worst people on earth. it kills me to think that once, they might've been a little boy or girl going to school. they were all born normal like us, but the life they had lead them into drug use. what bugs me the most are drug addicts with kids. no child should ever have to live that life of violence, fear, and despair. it's about time that BC did something about this problem, cause it's really, really getting out of hand.

everything and everyone is moving by so fast. people that i thought i knew, i don't know anymore. i've seen everyone live their lives and drift from one thing to another, carelessly, while my mind is still stuck on one thing. it fucking SUCKS. one week it's complete bullshit, the next it's like heaven on earth. i think i've made this way too personal for me. it's gotten to a point that the slightest things can have such a drastic effect on the way i feel and act. my grades have dropped, my sense of humor has basically vanished, i'm always bitter, the list just goes on. i think i have to do something fast, or just forget it. it's going to be hard, but i think it's all for the best.
